Console Table Build Part 6

Next up – milling the aprons. The only thing tricky about this is the front apron, due to the opening and the integral drawer front. I think it’s a clever process; I learned it while teaching at Cerritos College. It was part of a table that students made, typically in their second class. Tony Fortner initiated the project and I assume the design was something he came across in the Mission Style furniture which he loves.

It’s a bit fussy to get everything right; like so many things, the details are important.
