Chair Horse Build Part 4

Finally finishing this up. I originally thought this would be three parts, but it took more time than anticipated. Lots of steps to this build!

frame assembly

As I mention in the video, building the frame is one of my favorite parts of this project. I like the challenge, the setup, the precision required, and the assembly. Something about it is very satisfying and it really appeals to the engineer in me.

Watch the video here.

My next project is a volunteer assignment for a local animal rescue organization, the Marine Mammal Care Center in San Pedro CA. They have some barriers they use to control the rescued seals in and around the facility and the barriers have started to deteriorate. They are just plywood and 2×2 or 2×4 material, so nothing complicated, but it’s nice to be able to help them out. No video but perhaps a blog post just to show you what I’m up to.

Note that I’ll be selling the chair horse soon (I need the space!), so watch here for details…
